Transit - At Risk Friday 4th March 2022 10:00:00

We have identified an issue with our core transit provider where one of our major transit uplinks from them has failed. We run a redundant network where other links now take up this traffic, however this is based on using multiple transit links and so with one removed, this places our network at risk as some redundancy has been removed and further failures could impact our network. Our transit provider is currently investigating this matter for us as a matter of priority.

Provider Update:

We have had a hardware fault on one of the networking devices in our infrastructure. We currently have a engineer onsite diagnosing the fault and will take remedial action to either bring the device back online or replace the hardware if required.
